Sheila Kerr is awarded 'Businesswoman of the year' for 2010 by Insight Magazine of Birmingham.
Sheila was contacted today to be informed that not only has she been awarded Jewellery Designer but also Businesswoman of the year!
This was as a result of the Magazine looking at a variety of elements covering entrepreneurial skills and innovation. Out of all the nominations Sheila was a clear winner.
These awards recognise not only Sheila's innovative designs but also the wide variety of business ideas and motivation which she has demonstrated throughout the year.

Sheila Kerr is awarded 'Jewellery Designer of the year' for 2010 by Insight Magazine of Birmingham.
Sheila Kerr was contacted earlier this week to be told that she had been nominated and had won the award despite stiff competition! Her designs stood out from all the rest as being so individual and unique.
There will be a full page spread in the magazine and this will become available to read online over the coming weeks.

JEWELLERY MAKING WORKSHOPS
Sheila Kerr is now be offering one-off jewellery making workshops throughout the summer. This will depend on demand but the syllabus will be published soon. If you have any ideas that you might wish to suggest please contact us via the contact page of this site.

COST INCLUDES TUITION AND TOOLS - Components should be purchased prior to the class.
Sheila Kerr can advise on where to purchase items at an affordable price. Recycled beads can also be used as well as 'found' items eg beach glass etc.

Cocktail Ring in Swarovski Crystal Clear
Emerald Diamonte Heart Ring
As a result of feedback from customers I have created the Cocktail ring in clear crystal. This is an adjustable silver plated ring and is very comfortable to wear. This is really sparkly and is perfect for day or evening wear! (No ring size required)
The emerald heart ring is a commission from a customer. She asked me to create this from diamonte crystal. I have handwired this ring to size and so this will be a perfect fit. If you would like this ring or any other simply contact me with your ring size.

Sheila Kerr is able to provide this service. Tiaras and jewellery can be designed to complement the gown and you will know that no one else will have the same jewellery. Just like your gown!
NEW - Prom Girl Keepsake
Sheila Kerr was inspired by the idea that the School Prom can represent a very special part of the school year. This may be the end of an era where schooldays are ending and many people go of to college or university or may start in employment.
As a result Sheila commissioned a Prom Girl range from Min Fidler, a glass artist to design some Prom Girls. Combining a handforged sterling silver heart, the Prom Girl Keepsake was born. The heart could be engraved with a special message eg Prom 2009 and the girl's name. This can be given as a gift before leaving for the Prom. Engraving can be done by yourself or Sheila Kerr can make arrangements for this to be done at a cost.
